About this trip
The Northern Circuit is the newest and longest of Kilimanjaro's established routes, circling around the mountain's quieter northern slopes before joining the summit push, typically over about nine days. Because it spends the most time on the mountain acclimatizing of any standard route, it is generally credited with the highest summit success rate, at the cost of being the longest and most expensive in terms of days needed. It also covers more of the mountain's varied scenery than any other single route.
